Fire Upon the Firmament

A cognitive danmaku. You play a colorless witness — a white-silver silhouette drifting through a lonely cosmos — reading the shapes each boss's bullets leave behind and finding the safe place inside the pattern, not between them.

Systems

- Negative-space navigation. Patterns escalate by shrinking and rotating the safe geometry, not by flooding the screen. Every gap is an intentional shape to read.

- Graze harvest. Piercing shots slice through enemy bullets and collect a graze for each one, climbing a tiered score multiplier (×1 → ×2 → ×4 → ×8). Homing shots trade score for single-target certainty — pick your language.

- Focus and bomb. Hold Shift to slow down and shrink your hitbox when a pattern tightens. Press X to bloom a bomb when reading fails.

Stages

Four bosses and one hidden extra — jellyfish, aurora, ice-knight, and Nox. Each boss owns a distinct single-tone palette so the player's monochrome never gets lost in the storm. Each stage's mobs rehearse a reading mode the boss later weaponizes: nothing in the boss fight is something the stage didn't teach you.
